Sills Cummis & Gross Opens Florida Office and Welcomes Robert A. Selig

Sills Cummis & Gross is pleased to announce the opening of its first office in Florida. The office is located at 222 Lakeview Avenue, Suite 800, West Palm Beach, FL 33401.

In addition to opening its Florida office, Sills Cummis is pleased to announce the addition of Robert A. Selig as a Member of the Firm and Co-Managing Partner of the Firm’s West Palm Beach office.

Mr. Selig began his litigation career in the Montgomery County, Pennsylvania District Attorney’s Office where he rose to the position of Chief of Trials. Thereafter he developed a diverse litigation practice involving trusts and estates (including probate), commercial, construction, product liability, and insurance matters. He also has experience handling transactional matters for select clients. Mr. Selig’s clients come from a diverse range of industries, including food, beverage, hospitality, insurance, and transportation. He has appeared in state and federal courts throughout the State of Florida, representing both plaintiffs and defendants for over 30 years. He has experience serving on the board and as counsel to multiple charitable organizations.

We closely follow our clients, recognizing the potential to assist them with new business opportunities. Additionally, several members of our Firm are admitted to practice in the State of Florida and some have recently taken the Florida Bar. When we met Bob Selig, the choice was clear: we sought a seasoned 30+ year veteran of the Florida Bar to help us launch and anchor our Florida office,” said Sills Cummis Managing Partner Max Crane.

Mr. Selig earned his J.D. from Widener University School of Law (Delaware) and his B.A. from Temple University. He is admitted to practice in Florida and Pennsylvania.
