Rutgers Center for Real Estate Studies Announces Co-Chairmen

“The Center for Real Estate Studies at Rutgers Business School in Newark announced Friday the appointments of industry executives James E. Hanson II and Carl J. Goldberg to serve as the center’s co-chairmen.
Hanson, president and chief executive officer of The Hampshire Cos. in Morristown, and Goldberg, co-founder of Roseland Property Co. in Short Hills, will be responsible for establishing the center, developing its programs and shaping its reputation. According to a news release, the co-chairmen will work closely with five other real estate professionals in the center’s executive committee.
The five members of the executive committee include: George H. Jacobs, president of Jacobs Enterprises Inc.; Ronald S. Ladell, senior vice president at AvalonBay Communities Inc.; Gualberto “Gil” Medina, executive vice president of CBRE Inc.; Paul V. Profeta, founder of Paul V. Profeta & Associates and Ted Zangari, member of Sills Cummis & Gross.
The newly established center had its inaugural lecture in March.”
