Sills Cummis Chief Talent and Strategy Officer Milvia Burns, and Members Beth Rose and Jaimee Katz Sussner are included on ROI-NJ’s ROI Influencers: Women in Business 2025 list, which recognizes dynamic, influential, and innovative leaders across New Jersey.
Milvia Burns – Chief Talent and Strategy Officer
She is responsible for developing, communicating, executing, and sustaining strategic firmwide initiatives, as well as overseeing human capital management and recruiting. Over the years, she has served on a number of boards of directors, including the Boards of WBGO, Mama Mancinis LLC, and Jazz Legacy Productions LLC. Throughout her career, she has developed and managed her own businesses. She started her career as an attorney in the New York City Department of Investigation.
Beth Rose – Member of the Firm; Firm Management Committee Member; Chair, Product Liability Practice Group; Co-Chair, Litigation Department
She is the lawyer to whom General Counsel turn when they need an aggressive but practical approach to “bet the company” product liability matters. She has tried complex product liability cases to verdict in state and federal courts throughout the United States. She leads the Sills Cummis Women’s Group and is a member of the Firm’s Management Committee. She also serves on the Board of Trustees of Jewish Services for the Developmentally Disabled.
Jaimee Katz Sussner – Member of the Firm; Firm Management Committee Member
She concentrates her practice on commercial and real estate litigation, with a focus on representing national title insurance companies and the parties that they insure in resolving coverage issues, litigating claims, and pursuing loss mitigation. She has been a dedicated and active leader in the New Jersey Women Lawyers Association for many years. She also serves on the Sills Cummis Management Committee.
