Benjamin (Jamie) G. Taub is Of Counsel to the Sills Cummis & Gross Corporate Department. His practice encompasses general corporate and intellectual property counseling relating to all aspects of business, including business formation, organizational and governing documents, mergers and acquisitions, equity purchase agreements and asset purchase agreements, financing agreements, software licensing agreements, distribution and supply agreements, vendor agreements, services agreements, sweepstakes rules, employment and consulting agreements, and restrictive covenant agreements.
In addition to advising on day-to-day general corporate issues, Mr. Taub counsels clients on a variety of intellectual property issues affecting their business operations and transactions, including the selection, adoption and use of trademarks, domestic and international trademark prosecution and enforcement, domestic copyright prosecution, and trademark and copyright portfolio management. He also has experience in inter party matters before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board.
Mr. Taub currently serves on the Board of Directors of The Arc of Union County, a non-profit organization that supports and protects individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families. During law school, Mr. Taub was a member of the Rutgers Moot Court Board.
