Sills Cummis Managing Partner Max Crane was interviewed for this article discussing the “war for legal talent” in New Jersey. Crane weighed in on some key factors and shared some recent successes.
As seen in this article, “Newark-based Sills Cummis & Gross has been active on the hiring front, including the recent additions of partners Keith Hemming, who now chairs the construction and energy law practice, and Frank Vitolo, who handles planning, zoning and redevelopment law, as well as associates in real estate, litigation and employment law.
“‘Every law firm, unless you’re not doing so well, loves their culture. … We have always been a good landing place for lateral partners who, for some reason at this point in their career, are contemplating a change,’ whether it’s lack of support or lack of flexibility at their current firms, he said.
“The key, according to Crane, is offering various forms of flexibility, not just in the sense of in-office versus remote.”
