New Jersey’s Top Law Firms Position Themselves to Meet the Challenges of Changing Times

The April 2008 issue of New Jersey Business magazine contains an article on New Jersey’s top law firms featuring Steven E. Gross, Chairman of the Firm. The article, entitled “NJ’s Top Law Firms Position Themselves To Meet the Challenges of Changing Times,” discusses several issues law firms are focusing on such as the economy, meeting clients’ needs, finding and keeping the best talent, as well as administrative issues, among others. Mr. Gross explained that the current economy has not affected the Firm’s M&A practice. He went on to say “I’m not talking about the multibillion dollar deals that required huge outside liquidity, the types of deals put together by private buyout specialists and hedge funds. These are gone. It’s the strategic acquisitions by companies already in an industry that are going better than ever… We’re currently working on four such M&A deals, each in excess of $100 million, all strategic.”
