New Jersey Sues Ticket Brokers Over Springsteen Sales

Three ticket brokers were sued by New Jersey Attorney General Anne Milgram for taking orders for three Bruce Springsteen shows at Giants Stadium before June 1, the official sale date. According to the article, “The state is accusing … [the three ticket brokers] of violating the state’s Consumer Fraud Act and advertising regulations.” Peter Verniero, a Member of the Firm and former state attorney general was interviewed for this article and said, “The New Jersey Consumer Fraud Act is broadly written and it has consistently been broadly interpreted by the Supreme Court.” He continued, “AGs of many tenures have used it whenever they thought it applied.”
