The July/August issue of Real Estate New Jersey featured “Property and the Law” on its cover. Inside in a section, “Meet the Real Estate Lawyers,” Ted Zangari is one of the featured attorneys. Ted, in talking about current issues, stated: “The challenges are many. Towns are imposing COAH (affordable housing) obligations on commercial development. State legislators are considering bills that would permit municipalities to impose a local realty tranfer tax and to levy extra property taxes on vacant land. State regulators are considering rules that would increase stream buffers even wider. And state judges have been gradually imposing a greater duty on landlords to mitigate default damages and act reasonably.
