A meeting took place in the governor’s office consisting of Governnor Christie; his chief of staff, Rich Bagger; Sills Cummis & Gross’ Mark Levenson, chair of the New Jersey-Israel Commission; Ido Agaroni, Israel’s consul general in New York; and Shlomi Kofman, the deputy consul general. Mr. Levenson commented about the deep connections between Israel and New Jersey in terms of business and academics, as well as New Jersey’s sizable Jewish community. He ended with: “New Jersey and Israel really go quite well together.”
