Ted Zangari is quoted in an article about legislation to delay new limits on sewer service areas. According to the article, “The bills [bills A4335 and S3156] will help New Jersey compete to attract business and jobs, said Ted Zangari, a real estate lawyer and founder of the Smart Growth Economic Development Coalition.” “We’re down to about 800,000 developable acres. That’s not enough to feed the future,” Zangari said. The article continues, “The state should do all it can to encourage redevelopment in existing suburbs; ‘however, at the end of the day the customer is right,’ Zangari said. If it’s choice between losing a business to another state, it should be allowed to locate ‘on a pastoral or rural site that’s not environmentally sensitive,’ he said.”
