Summer Internship Program

Sills Cummis & Gross is a full-service corporate law firm with offices in New Jersey, New York and Florida. Sills has the capabilities of a New York full-service law firm but offers the economic benefits of a New Jersey based headquarters. Our client roster ranges from Fortune 500 Companies to emerging growth and foreign corporations doing business in the United States.

Our paid summer internship program provides in-depth experience in various practice areas throughout the Firm over a period of 8 weeks. The practice areas may include litigation, employment & labor, trusts and estates, real estate and corporate. During this time, you will work closely with attorneys who will assist you with numerous legal assignments and hands on opportunities such as attending depositions and commercial real estate closings.

In addition to the substantive legal work, you will participate in a writing project that is supervised and edited by an attorney at the Firm with extensive knowledge of legal research and writing. This opportunity will help to sharpen your legal research and writing skills and leave our program with a formal writing sample to provide during your interview process.

The Firm also schedules numerous activities such as “Lunch and Learns” which are seminars hosted by attorneys that cover multiple legal topics over lunch. Further, there are several social events throughout the 8 weeks which promote the ability to establish lasting connections with attorneys at the Firm.
