Bailout May Save Nearly 900 Jobs at Bayonne Medical Center

Andrew Sherman, Vice Chair of the Firm’s Creditors’ Rights and Bankruptcy Reorganization Practice Group, was interviewed for a December 13, 2007 NJBIZ article about the purchase of assets of Bayonne Medical Center, which is operating under Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection, by IJKG Propco. This deal is expected to save the jobs of the majority of medical center employees. According to the article, “The deal may close by the end of January, says Andrew Sherman, a member of Sills Cummis & Gross P.C. in Newark. He represents the Official Committee of Unsecured Creditors, which is helping to coordinate the planned buyout.”
