As Honorary Chairman of this charity event, Mr. Buckley opened the program with welcoming remarks and introduction of the six “leaders and legends” honorees and six college scholarship recipients.
The honorees in attendance were Dr. John Brennan, Executive Director of Newark Beth Israel Medical Center; C. Tate George, former NBA player and CEO of Tate George Group LLC; the Gold Family of Westfield NJ; Lawrence P. Goldman, CEO of the New Jersey Performing Arts Center; the Rev. M. William Howard, Jr., Chair of the Rutgers University Board of Governors; and the Hon. Congressman Donald M. Payne, currently serving his eleventh consecutive term as United States Congressman representing the Tenth District of New Jersey.
