According to this August 17, 2009 NJBIZ article, “Trade between Italy and New Jersey has grown in recent years, but the potential for more led to the formation of the N.J./Italy Trade Council last year, and an executive order by Gov. Jon S. Corzine on July 24 directing state officials to increase trade.” The article continues, “The council will increase business-to-business contacts by maintaining an online directory for members and a bilingual Web site, and by organizing trade missions, according to Ted Zangari, co-chairman of the council.”
