Jeffrey Greenbaum is quoted in this article which deals with discovery of electronically stored information(ESI) and the New Jersey Supreme Court’s formal adoption of rule changes that regulate discovery in the age of e-mail, voice mail, computer files and other information stored electronically. Greenbaum, a major advocate of the changes, said their adoption “shows that New Jersey is taking the lead in accommodating discovery to the realities of modern business.” Greenbaum is a member of the Civil Practice Committee that helped push for state adoption of the federal model and felt that consistency between the rules is a key benefit. He also played an active role in the development of the federal model for the American Bar Association’s Section of Litigation.
