Legislation, regulations and court decisions relating to the land development review process continue to modify the legal framework within which real estate is developed. A panel of land use attorneys will examine the most recent significant changes and discuss their implication for the future.
Site Remediation Regulatory Updates (Andrew Robins)
Under the 2009 Site Remediation Reform Act (SRRA), all remediation projects must be supervised by a LSRP. This seminar will discuss the implementation of the regulatory requirements and program structure on remediation and Brownfield redevelopment projects. Particular focus will be on the role of the Department’s oversight, current and upcoming Guidance Documents, anticipated changes to Remediation Standards and stakeholders concerns, and initiatives to reform the SRRA.
