Sills Cummis & Gross Welcomes 2023 Summer Legal Interns: Dennis Gindi, Christopher Gitelman and Ryan Protter

Sills Cummis & Gross is pleased to welcome Dennis Gindi, Christopher Gitelman and Ryan Protter to the Firm as Summer Legal Interns.
Dennis Gindi graduated with a B.S. from Yeshiva University in 2019 and completed his second year as a law student at Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law. He is interning in the Firm’s New York office.
Christopher Gitelman is the Firm’s 2023 Rutgers Law School – Minority Student Program Summer Intern. He graduated with a B.A. from University of Maryland in 2020 and completed his first year as a law student at Rutgers Law School in Newark. He is interning at the Firm’s Newark office.
Ryan Protter is the Firm’s 2023 Charles J. Walsh Scholar. He graduated with a B.A. from Dickinson College in 2016 and completed his second year as a law student at Rutgers Law School in Newark. He is interning in the Firm’s Newark office.
The Firm is pleased to continue its longstanding partnership with Rutgers Law School in Newark and the following two scholarship/internship opportunities: the Charles J. Walsh Scholarship and the Rutgers Law School – Minority Student Summer Internship Program. The Charles J. Walsh Scholarship Fund was established by Sills Cummis & Gross in 2006 in memory of the late Judge Charles J. Walsh, who, prior to his appointment to the Superior Court of New Jersey, Bergen County, was a valued Member of Sills Cummis & Gross for 17 years. Judge Walsh was also an adjunct professor at the law school. The Rutgers School of Law – Minority Student Program serves students of any race or ethnicity who are members of groups that are underrepresented in the legal profession, and who have faced discrimination or overcome social and economic hardships. The Firm’s summer internship program provides an opportunity for law students to hone their legal skills and gain experience.
