Kristoffer S. Burfitt is an Associate in the Sills Cummis & Gross Litigation Practice Group.
Mr. Burfitt focuses his practice on complex commercial litigation, including representation of closely held corporations, limited liability companies and partnerships in connection with all aspects of their businesses. His practice covers a range of issues, including shareholder disputes and business dissolutions, fraud, employment litigation and breach of contract matters.
In addition to his business litigation practice, Mr. Burfitt has also represented clients in the health care industry on compliance issues and has conducted numerous investigations to ensure client compliance with government regulations and corporate integrity agreements.
Mr. Burfitt also has substantial experience litigating trust and estate matters.
Mr. Burfitt is a graduate of Seton Hall University School of Law, where he was a member of the Interscholastic Moot Court Board. Following law school, Mr. Burfitt served as Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Jane Bruskin Cantor, J.S.C., Superior Court of New Jersey, Middlesex County.
